• Remembering 9/11 - Means honoring the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the strength it took to carry on. It’s a day to reflect on unity, service, and compassion—and to never forget the impact that day had on our nation and the world. On September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners in the United States. Two planes were flown into the World Trade Center towers in New York City, one struck the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and the fourth crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after passengers and crew resisted. Nearly 3,000 people died, and many more were impacted by the aftermath. It’s a day to reflect on service, unity, and the lasting effects of that tragedy. We will never forget.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day is an annual celebration where people swap their usual conversations for pirate-style phrases and fun “Arrr!” energy. It’s a lighthearted way to embrace creativity, get a laugh, and share some playful pirate talk with friends, coworkers, and everyone around you.
